Mita Bordoloi was born in the valley of the Brahmaputra River in the eastern foothills of the Himalayas. She has lived most of her life in the land of the Mississippi, with additional stints in India and China. She now resides in the Midwest with her husband. She is a mother of three daughters, a lover of animals and plants, and a writer of stories for adults and children.
As her writings stem from her unique experiences in diverse regions of the world, Mita Bordoloi engages the young readers in the classrooms with refreshing multicultural presentations.
